Community Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Monash Health Community Advisory Committee is an advisory committee to the Monash Health Board of Directors and works to increase consumer, carer and community participation in all facets of Monash Health’s operations in partnership with the Monash Health Board of Directors.

Role

The Monash Health Community Advisory Committee (CAC) has two main roles.

  1. To provide leadership to Monash Health in relation to the integration of consumer, carer and community views into all levels of strategy, operations, planning and policy development; and
  2. To provide advice to the Monash Health Board of Directors on priority areas and issues from a consumer, carer and community perspective.  These areas and issues may be identified by the Board of Directors or by the Community Advisory Committee
