Duffy antigen (DARC)

Duffy antigen receptor for chemokines (DARC)

Duffy antigen/chemokine receptor (DARC) is a protein located on the surface of red blood cells, and is a receptor for the malarial parasite Plasmodium vivax and a non-specific receptor for several chemokines.
