|Angela Melder - Manager
B App Sci (Applied Biology), Master of Public Health
Angela is the manager of the Centre for Clinical Effectiveness. As an expert in evidence based practice, she leads the CCE team that supports Monash Health in translating evidence to inform healthcare decisions and practices. She has worked in the UK developing evidence based guidelines for National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Prior to this she has worked with the Cochrane Collaboration (Communication and Consumer Review Group), Latrobe University in Melbourne, as well as working in Indigenous health at the Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin, Northern Territory.
|Corey Joseph – Senior Evidence Analyst
PhD, BAppSc , Hons (Applied Sc)
Corey is a Senior Evidence Analyst for the Centre for Clinical Effectiveness. Corey’s role is predominantly focused around undertaking reviews and evaluation of evidence. Corey is a member of the Cochrane Collaboration Schizophrenia Group, and the Cochrane Musculoskeletal Group. Corey is also a current member of the Anaphylaxis Expert Group formed by the Victorian Paediatric Clinical Network. At Monash Health, Corey also works as a Biomechanist within the Clinical Gait Analysis Services.
|Marie Garrubba – Senior Project Officer

Marie is a Senior Project Officer for the Centre for Clinical Effectiveness. Marie’s role focuses on undertaking systematic reviews for Monash Health staff, coordinating the development and approval of clinical guidelines as well as a range of activities related to projects coordinated by the CCE team. Marie has also worked on guideline development and research projects in collaboration with Monash University, The Jean Hailes Institute and The Australasian Cochrane Centre.
|Gillian Yap – Senior Project Officer
BSc (Hons), MPhil
Gillian is a senior project officer in the Centre for Clinical Effectiveness, and Executive Officer of the Technolgy/Clinical Practice Committee (TCPC). Gillian's role involves the support and coordination of the TCPC, as well as Choosing Wisely initiatives and projects in Monash Health. She also conducts rapid evidence-based reviews to inform executive decision-makers. She previously worked on research projects in the Defence Medical and Environmental Research Institute (DSO National Laboratories), as well as in research strategy and planning at Singapore Sports Institute.
