A valuable service within the unit, volunteers provide companionship and non-professional assistance for patients and their carers.
McCulloch House Auxiliary
Our Auxiliary works hard to provide us with many extra ‘comforts’ for our patients and their families. We encourage you to support their fundraising activities. New members are welcome. Please ask for further information.
Bereavement support/counselling service
A bereavement support/counselling service is available to any family member or carer by contacting the Pastoral Carer or Social Worker at McCulloch House.
It is our policy to use professionally trained interpreters whenever we feel it is appropriate.
Concerns, compliments and comments
We welcome feedback and use this to continually improve our services and to recognise the quality care of our staff.
If you have any concerns, please speak to a staff member directly involved with your care or the person in charge of the area. In most cases, that is the appropriate way to resolve issues, including any language difficulties experienced. We are committed to solving problems quickly and efficiently.
There is also formal process available to lodge a compliment, complaint or comment.
