Medicare Ineligible patients

You will be required to pay for your healthcare before you are treated. Costs are outlined in Fees and Charges below.

Monash Health will try to give you an accurate estimate of the cost of your healthcare, however sometimes costs may change due to the time you spend in hospital. There may also be extra costs for prostheses, medication, equipment, diagnostic tests and procedures.

You will be required to pay for any outstanding bills when you are discharged from the hospital.

Monash Health fees and charges may change from time to time. The following charges are effective at 1 July 2017.

There may be extra costs for prostheses, medication, equipment, diagnostic tests and procedures. You will be billed for these separately and you will be expected to pay these costs or claim costs from your insurer.
